Ma Po Tofu
Hot and Sour Soup
We tried a different recipe for Ma Po Tofu, this time from the new Morimoto-san book ""Morimoto: The New Art of Japanese Cooking" -- but it's the same basic idea -- hot/spicy tofu!
The basic subs in the recipe are: soyrizo (or soaked/fried tvp) for the pork, and vegetable stock with an added 1 tbs. sherry. other than that, it's good to go...
We haven't made the Hot and Sour Soup from V'con in a while, but it worked well as part of the theme of hot tofu. ;)
