Cabbage, Onion and Dill Pierogi

Braised Red Cabbage
(red cabbage, caraway seeds, salt, pepper, beer vinegar*, veg stock)

Mushroom and Barley Soup
(barley, carrot, celery, onion, crimini mushrooms, veg stock, tamari, pepper)


Comfort Food week continues with another round of pierogi -- this time, a mashed potato and roasted garlic batch in addition to cabbage, onion and dill.

* this is interesting stuff -- vinegar made with beer. It matches wonderfully with the red cabbage...
